Live Longer and Happier with 5 Steps

There are places in the world, where there are more centenarians than anywhere else in the world. That means people that live to be 100. This is not by accident. That’s why I want you to have this post so you can Live Longer and Happier with 5 Steps.

Now you may think “why would I want to live that long” due to the fact that you are already struggling with obesity, illness and live a sedentary life. 

The resident scholar of longevity in the United States, George Burns, was asked about his formula for living over 100.

His response?

“If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn’t ask me, I’d still have to say it.”

The places people live to be 100 happily and with the best health live in :

(1) Okinawa, Japan; (2) Loma Linda, California; (3) Sardinia, Italy; (4) Nicoya, Costa Rica; and (5) Ikaria, Greece.

What do people do regularly that live to be 100 and LOVE their lives?

What they all have in common is a particular life STYLE. (not following trendy diets with names!)

Here is what they practice:

1. Not smoking

2. Daily physical activity, with LOTS of walking.

3. Plant based diet, heavy with vegetables and olive oils and minimal amounts of animal protein. As in the Mediterranean Diet that you can read about HERE.

4. Great social and family connections.

5. No junk foods, fast foods, or processed foods. (THIS ONE IS THE BEST!)
